Leanne E. Carberry joined Woods Aitken in 2019 and is a member of the firm’s Construction Law and Commercial Litigation practice groups. She advises and represents construction and design professionals in the areas of contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution. Leanne’s experience includes representing clients in complex construction claims and disputes, multimillion-dollar construction defect cases, in addition to defense of premises liability, general negligence, transportation, and wrongful death claims.
Leanne received her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law where she was named to the Order of the Barristers recognizing exceptional oral advocacy skills. During law school, Leanne served as Lead Articles Editor for the Creighton Law Review, competed as a member of R. Collin Mangrum’s decorated trial team, and was a recipient of the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award, the Lyle A. Strom Scholar in Trial Advocacy Award, and multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards. Following graduation, Leanne clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Philip J. McNulty in the First Judicial District Court.
Prior to joining Woods Aitken, Leanne worked as an associate at a large regional law firm in Denver, Colorado defending clients in the areas of construction and design, transportation, hospitality, and premises liability.
