Colin Baumchen joined Woods Aitken in 2012 and is a member of the firm’s construction law and commercial litigation practice groups. He advises and represents contractors, subcontractors, owners, and other construction-related entities in various aspects of claim and dispute resolution proceedings. Colin also has significant experience with mediation, arbitration, and litigation in various state and federal courts.

During law school, Colin was editor-in-chief of the Kansas Law Review, a member of the 2012 ELSA International Moot Court Team, and a recipient of multiple CALI Excellence for the Future awards.  Prior to graduation, Colin was a judicial extern for Hon. John W. Lungstrum, United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and a law clerk for a mid-size law firm in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
