    Overview

    Kennon Meyer focuses her practice on water rights and allocation, environmental and natural resources law, real estate transactions, and land use planning.

    She represents governmental clients, political subdivisions, and other organizations in matters involving administrative and judicial proceedings related to water and natural resource allocation, regulatory compliance and enforcement, and disputes arising under regulatory frameworks. She has also participated in advisory work on water supply planning, including involvement with municipal water source planning efforts.

    Kennon serves as general counsel to numerous Nebraska Natural Resources Districts, advising on matters related to water management issues, real estate transactions, contract negotiations, litigation representation, and other broad legal issues.

    Kennon serves on professional and industry committees related to natural resources, including roles that support water management and resource planning discussions.

    She earned a J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law and a B.A. from DePaul University.
