Sarah K. Mielke

Sarah Mielke represents contractors, subcontractors, business owners, and employers in construction disputes, commercial litigation, and employment matters. Her experience includes trials and arbitrations involving complex construction claims, contract disputes, and mechanic’s liens. She also advises clients on contract drafting and negotiation, project performance, and dispute resolution.

In her employment practice, Sarah counsels employers on workplace compliance, handles employment claims, and conducts workplace investigations. Her combined construction and employment experience helps clients address workforce and job site issues alongside the demands of their projects and businesses.

Sarah takes a practical, collaborative approach, working closely with clients to understand facts, evaluate risk, and develop a clear strategy. She joined Woods Aitken in 2021 after clerking with the firm for two years and serves on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
