    Overview

    Dave brings more than 33 years of legal experience to clients in agriculture, natural resources, and public utilities law.

    For the past 20 years, his work has been focused on the representation of public power districts across Nebraska, where he serves as a trusted legal advisor on governance, contract compliance, territorial issues, administrative proceedings, and complex litigation.

    Dave serves as General Counsel for numerous Nebraska public power districts and as General Counsel for the Nebraska Rural Electric Association, the statewide organization representing Nebraska’s rural electric systems. In this role, he advises on matters involving the charter and governance issues, rate and service disputes, legislative and policy matters, employment matters, union contracts, real estate, and contract negotiations.

    Known among clients and colleagues as a steady counselor and strategic advocate, Dave approaches his work with a service mindset.

    • Presently provides legal counsel to Natural Resources Districts relative to water management issues, dam construction and rehabilitation projects, condemnation and other broad legal issues.
