Woods Aitken is proud to announce that Laura J. DePetro and Patrick T. Vint have been elected partners in the Firm. The election was effective January 1, 2021.

DePetro works in the Firm’s Denver office and focuses her practice on commercial litigation and construction law. She represents all types of construction companies on public and private jobs, whether it is a contract dispute, design deficiency, negligence claim, or complex delay and schedule issues. Prior to joining Woods Aitken in 2015, DePetro was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Gary A. Fenner, a senior federal district court judge for the Western District of Missouri. DePetro received her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude, and her B.A. from Augustana University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Colorado as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. 

Vint works in the Firm’s Omaha office and focuses his practice on commercial litigation and construction law. He represents design professionals, contractors and subcontractors in construction-related claims, and business owners in contract and labor disputes. He also advises clients on how to manage risk and prevent future litigation. Vint received his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law and his B.B.A. from the University of Iowa. He is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
