These monthly informal discussions will take place as a Zoom virtual meeting and participation is highly encouraged. Topic: DOL Releases New Salary Threshold for Exempt Employees
On April 23, 2024, the U.S. Department of Labor published a final rule to increase the salary thresholds for “white-collar” exemptions (e.g., executive, administrative, professional) and highly compensated employees. The base salary level for “white-collar” exemptions and total annual compensation threshold for highly compensated employees will increase in three phases:
