Krista L. Kester

Since joining the firm in 2000, Krista Kester has focused her practice on commercial and construction litigation, appellate practice, and the representation of foreign insolvency liquidators.

Prior to entering private practice, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Warren K. Urbom, United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, and as an adjunct professor (legal research and writing) at the University of Nebraska College of Law. Building upon that base of experience, Krista has focused extensively on pretrial motion and appellate practice. She is a charter member and past president of the Eighth Circuit Bar Association.

Krista is a member of the Nebraska State Board of Engineers and Architects, which regulates the licensure and practice of engineers and architects in Nebraska. Krista is a co-author of the book, Nebraska Construction Law, published in 2008, and of the Design-Build Deskbook, published in 2010.

In addition to the numerous Bar Admissions noted below, Krista has practiced pro hac vice before state and federal courts in Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, North Carolina, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, and California.
