Wm. Lee Merritt primarily focuses his practice on banking and financial institution planning and transactions; mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and complex corporate and partnership transactions; and business entity planning. As the leader of the firm’s Transaction and Business Planning department, Lee’s experiences include the representation and counsel of private companies relating to acquisitions, dispositions, operations, corporate compliance and additional corporate and business areas.
Lee has lectured extensively and authored, or assisted in the authorship, of numerous articles and seminar materials relating to business planning, tax and estate planning, and financial institution loan documentation topics. He is also a member of the Firm’s Managing Committee, and is responsible for the operation of the Firm’s Omaha, Nebraska office.
