Kory George has practiced law with Woods & Aitken since 2003 with an emphasis in construction law and commercial litigation. His experience includes advising and representing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, owners, design professionals, sureties, and financial institutions in all aspects of claim and dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation at the state and federal court levels.
Kory has made numerous presentations before various trade industry groups and professional organizations. He has authored and co-authored several articles published in periodicals such as The Construction Lawyer and The Journal of American College of Construction Lawyers. He is an active member of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry and is also a member of the ABA Litigation Section Committees on Construction Litigation and Commercial and Business Litigation.
