Kerry Kester has practiced law with Woods & Aitken LLP since 1981 focusing on construction contracting, dispute resolution, and counseling owners, contractors, design professionals, subcontractors and suppliers regarding the legal issues affecting their businesses. Kerry is a frequent speaker and writer on construction related topics and is a member of the Governing Committee of the ABA’s Forum on the Construction Industry. Kerry also is a Lead Editor of the Forum’s Design-Build Deskbook (4th Edition).
Kerry’s experience includes mediation and arbitration, as well as litigation and appeals before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and the federal boards of contract appeals.
Kerry was admitted to the Nebraska bar in 1979 and served two years as a judicial law clerk to then Chief United States District Court Judge Warren K. Urbom prior to joining Woods & Aitken LLP.
