Brian Koerwitz joined Woods & Aitken in
2007 as an associate practicing in both the Construction Law and
Commercial Litigation areas of the Firm. In his position as an
associate, Brian's duties include drafting pleadings and discovery,
conducting legal research and writing briefs, and working through
other aspects of the litigation process.
Before entering law school, Brian was a chemist with the
Nebraska State Patrol's crime lab for nearly seven years. He graduated
from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2007 with distinction,
participated in Moot Court and received two CALI Excellence for the
Future awards. Brian also clerked for a small law firm before he began
clerking for Woods & Aitken in 2006.
